PIZZON MILL

Not far from the town of Fratta Polesine, at the confluence of Canale Scortico and Canalbiancon, there is the Pizzon Mill.

It is a true example of industrial archeology of considerable importance, being the only earthen mill of the mid-nineteenth century existing in Polesine.

The museum itinerary is spread over three floors and allows you to see the impressive machines, still functioning, for grinding and processing wheat and corn.

The exhibition halls also host the permanent exhibition “The battle of wheat in Polesine 1925-1932”, made up of technical-scientific instruments that belonged to the Provincial Inspectorate for Agriculture of Rovigo.
